If this looks familiar it's because I released this once before for 1.5 but have since removed that mod. If it doesn't look familiar, this is a dark mode theme for SDV, mostly updated to 1.6. I may have missed a few things, as I haven't fully played the 1.6 update just yet to know where it might be wonky.

Some things you need to know!

While my mod comes with three custom pointers and portrait backgrounds, you can totally disable them if you have your own favorite pointer mod you want to use, or, for whatever reason, it conflicts with your own portrait background mod. Just pick "off" in the general options menu.

The font colors aren't perfect. The game hardcodes some of the font colors, meaning some fonts are just dark no matter what I do via content patcher. There are only two ways I know of to somewhat fix that.

Way 1: Use Theme Manager. My mod is already set up to work with this one, no need to download anything extra besides Theme Manager itself. Then in the general options menu select the Dark Mode UI option. (If you see no difference when you select that option, and you have the smapi console available, type "retheme" into it and it'll load the colors correctly.)

Way 2: Use the Naver mod FontFixOption (폰트 속성 모드). This one has a bit more grit, but also not a lot of user friendliness. If you know how to use this mod already, or are willing to learn to, you can download the config file I provided to replace the one the mod has. I'd recommend editing the config file yourself as well and fiddling with the colors until they're to your personal taste and/or visual contrast needs.

Way 3 (sort of): Use both. They do actually work together. If you're an advanced mod user and understand content patcher dependencies, you can make one load after the other one to cover more ground.

Other Mods that I highly recommend you use with this one.

Accessibility
Font Settings allows you to change the font type, size, and many other things. This has been a yobasend as far as readability for me.

Frame Decoration
Overgrown Flowery InterfaceSeasonal Vanilla UIWU-Chinese style seasonal UIYellog Flower Dialogue UI, and Ginger Island Leafy Dialogue UI Frame all add decoration to your portrait frames.

Portrait Backgrounds
Portraited Changing Skies and Living Portraits both change the portrait background into something dynamic and interesting. I actually use portraited changing skies myself. (Not to be confused with Changing Skies that changes your entire dialog box, but if that floats your boat, it works with my mod too.)
