If you're sick of red hats in all senses, consider using this quick and easy-to-install Content Patcher mod that turns the Red Cowboy Hat into a more friendly recolor, giving you a stylish hat that doesn't support taking away others' rights! Inspired by the vibes of Pink Pony Club and Barbie Pink to bring more light and love into the world and Pelican Town.
This mod was conceptualized by archaeomal and created with support from plantsandprose for the sole purpose of removing the red in the Red Cowboy Hat. Be sure to check out all the other mods plantsandprose as well as the CAPS team have created.
Download and unzip the "Turn Red Cowboy Hat Pink" files into your mods folder. This is a simple Content Patcher mod that swaps the red cowboy hat with a different variant and requires no additional steps for proper installation.
This mod is compatible with most other mod packs. This mod only recolors the singular hat using the Stardew Valley Characters/Farmer/hats sprite sheet and has been updated to only properly pull from that one hat. Hat customization mods for hats should no longer be affected, although another mod using the Red Cowboy Hat may have conflicts. Thank you to Airyn for helping me figure out how to change that!
