About this mod
Wear special accessories to summon NPCs to fight with you, collect crops, hoe the fields, restore your health and stamina, etc. This version only has the original and some crossover characters.

In the "They Stay With You" option in GMCM, scroll to the bottom, select the name, save the settings and restart the game. There are only general skills and a small part of the interactive dialogue.

"To accommodate everyone's different customization, the original animations were used which might look pretty strange depending on the character as not all NPCs have the same sprite sheet. Please feel free to give me feedback on this. If enough people continue to give feedback on incorrect sprites, I may draw more sprites.

Regarding the Addition of Modded NPCs (from the original description):
"I don't have any character I dislike so much that I wouldn't want them to appear in my mod. I am mainly afraid of copyright issues and it being OOC, so if you want me to add other modded characters I'll ask them when I have the chance to see if it's possible. However, even if I do have permission to add them, there might not be any unique dialogue because I don't know their personalities as much as the creators. If you can provide your own text, let me know."

- Buy the accessories in order or:
- Buy the backpack from the store, put in the accessories of the NPC who needs to be summoned, then wear the backpack. (To open the backpack, you need to select and then right-click, just like with eating.)
Get close to the NPC you want to talk to and press left Alt + right click. This keybind can be changed in GMCM>TrinketTinker>DoInteraction.

- Download CP, SMAPI, Trinket Tinker, BETAS, They Stay With You and extract to the Mods folder.
- Download this mod and overwrite the files in 'They Stay With You'. Make sure to replace the manifest.json file too.
- Recommended: Download Generic Mod Config Menu for easier setting customization. My version of the manifest.json translates these options.
Settings:
- The settings menu allows you to toggle on/off various skills and customize them. By default, you can only fight, recover health, and add buffs.
- You must reopen your game for the changes to take effect.
Compatibility:
- Currently compatible with all popular + large mods, and includes online compatibility. Please let Luo7710 know if there is anything that conflicts or overlaps with the store location.
- Compatible with the mobile version but you can't use trinket inventory in mobile
