About this mod

A portrait and sprite replacement for Marlon that basically just makes him a pretty boy because I'm nothing if not predictable.

Permissions and credits
It's always the characters I can't have, and this one you can't even really interact with. Wish I knew enough about programming to make him marriageable as well, but there is a pretty cool mod that's being worked on that lets you befriend him and Gunther.

How to Install (I'm not an expert on modding so this may not be the most efficient):

  • Unzip the folder labelled Liorlen - Marlon Character Mod and go into the Content folder. The other folder is just the .png files of the sprites and portraits.

  • There will be two folders: Portraits and Characters.

  • Go into the Characters folder and copy Marlon.xnb and then go to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Content. If you can't find this, your Stardew Valley folder may be in a different place such as Program Files (x86). Open the Characters folder there and paste Marlon.xnb and let it replace the file that was already there.

  • Go back to the mod folders and go into the Portraits folder. Copy Marlon.xnb. Go back to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Content and open the Portraits folder. Paste Marlon.xnb and let it replace the file that was there.

If you have any issues please tell me. And if you like this mod, please let me know! I know this isn't for everyone, after all I originally made this just for myself. Not really sure why I made this in the first place to be honest.
