While I like this concept, I have an issue with your premise: carpentry isn't a profession that will tend towards increased muscle mass, regardless of whether you build homes or wooden projects. Especially not with modern tools, whether hand or powered. If your woodworking tools require a lot of force to use, usually that means they need sharpening or oiling (or both). Carpentry, like fabrication, is much more about diligence and precision than about strength.
Having Maru have increased muscle mass due to her genes is fine, but the explanation for why doesn't make any sense. The setup would make a lot more sense if Clint was the carpenter and Robin the blacksmith. And having her do power cleans and squats also doesn't make sense - being teased for having an unfeminine body type would tend to result in her not wanting to accentuate the muscle groups that make her appearance more masculine. Having her do aerobics would make more sense.
dude, chill. He was stating his opinion, don't be a cock about it lmfao. He wasn't saying it's bad or anything, he was just pointing out a genuine flaw, jesus. "Make it yourself" is such a dumb counter-argument to genuine criticism, especially considering he's most likely just downloading mods cause he doesn't Know how to make them himself, and is giving advice towards a mod he enjoys to hopefully improve it even more. Hey man! Loving the Marriage Dialogue. Not sure if it's that mod or another, but I have noticed a few typos in some of the Dialogues. I also find the dialogue where Maru talks about her hips and her breasts not fitting into her mothers old wedding dress to be kinda creepy, and unnecessary. I don't really feel like any self-respecting human being would say that, and it kinda soured my opinion on the mod at first, as it was the Very first line of Dialogue I heard from her once I gave her the Mermaid Pendant. It really does come off as unnecessarily horny. However, I will give this mod quite a bit credit, aside from that really creepy and weird line, her other dialogues are Super cute and very enjoyable. I like how she asks the player about their day, and involves the player in dialogue on multiple occasions, instead of being the only one to speak. I really love that, and it goes above and beyond my expectations, and makes me feel much more involved. My personal advice, remove that instance of that really gross line, fix up some of the typos (I don't usually take issues with that kinda stuff, but again, it was Also some of the first few lines I had experienced when first installing the mod.), and that Dialogue mod is, quite literally, perfect. I'm sorry if I came off as overly critical, as I do really enjoy the mod. Thank you!
[Content Patcher] Two content packs want to load the 'Maps/Beach-Luau' asset (Maru Expanded: Dialogue Overhaul and Stardew Valley Expanded). Neither will be applied. You should remove one of the content packs, or ask the authors about compatibility.
This is amazing, i'm loving this mod! I know this may be a bit too much, but is it possible that you would ever release a seasonal version? I'm also really looking forward your future projects, i would love to see new additions to the Maru-Sebastian relationship.
I enjoy the mod so far but, there is a little "error/problem" ,I notice that on Tuesdays both Emily and Robin wont go out of their rooms bed and stay in bed all day, u can still talk to them if u can enter their rooms. I looked into the mods and found that on "Maru Expanded Yoga club" on the content file, both Emily and Robin schedules for Tuesday are setting to "null" this cause that Emily and Robin dont move. My temp solution for this one was to set in the file as the following: // swapping Emily Schedule { "Action": "EditData", "Target": "Characters/schedules/Emily", "Entries": { "Wed": "900 HaleyHouse 16 5 2/1000 SeedShop 27 16 2/1300 SeedShop 26 19 2 emily_exercise/1600 Saloon 15 17 2 square_5_1_0/2430 HaleyHouse 21 4 1", "Tue": "GOTO Sat" } }, So I only change the "null" that was on "Tue" line to "GOTO Sat" and now Emily moves as like she were copying what she do on Saturdays. So I change the same setting for Robin and now there is no problem so far. Just to point out that little detail of the mod
Okay so I tried out the dialogue portion and its going great, except at the Moonlight Jellies festival she said she was married and lives with me... I haven't married her.
Kind of a snag. Did I miss a config or something?
Edit: I'm now getting not just marriage dialogue but in-law dialogue from her family for a large amount of the festivals. I'm not dating her, she's still at 7 hearts on that particular file.
I've spotted a mistake, although I have another dialogue mod installed so sorry in advance if this isn't form this one. It's in a conversation with married Maru about her father, which implies that she's form his first marriage and not Robin's daughter. She is her daughter and we don't know anything about Demetrius previous romantic life (correct me if I'm wrong).
