OKAY! If anyone else is confused, this thing is your standard run-of-the-mill CP install! You're gonna wanna extract it using your regular .rar extraction software and then send it to the Mods folder in your Stardew Valley game! Took me a bit to realize that though most of that time was spent worried I was going to mess up. So it's fine! Just do it like you normally do... And then go enjoy the arguably best looking slimes in video game history being imported into Stardew Valley.
I've been using this mod for a while. It actually motivated me to get back into Stardew. I was still in my first year prior to this. I love love love slimes, and now I'm in my 4th year (nearly 5th), have a slime hutch, a slime pen, a slime in my house, and slimes invading the town (politely!). Of course, the other monster reskins are a definite bonus! You've done a fantastic job here. Also the large slimes are super cute and I'm glad you had the idea to make them that model.
I'd recommend this mod to anyone - even those unfamiliar with Dragon Quest. The slimes are an adorable joy to encounter and definitely worth trying out!
thanks for the replies everyone. i'd love to make more but the sprite sheets are very small so it's hard to fit DQ's designs into them (notice how cramped the skeleton is and the fact that King Slime has no crown) and it requires me to sort of redesign the sprites myself. it would take a lot more than just spritework to alter things like sprite dimensions so i stopped once the easier ones were done. I might try to make some more if i get into stardew again but it's unlikely because the enemies are so small, and well, DQ monsters are fairly large... but we'll see.
