I finally got off my butt and updated this mod for Content Patcher and made some changes and additions

Forage to Farm
Foraging for items is fun but sometimes it takes a while to find the goodies hidden all over the map and sometimes can be are scarce to nonexistent. This mod adds crops for all (non beach) forging items that do not currently have crop versions (such as grape and cactus fruit) for all seasons. In total that is twenty+ crops including all mushroom types, cave carrots, ginger island forage, and three trees.
Installing
- Have SMAPI, Content Patcher and Spacecore (if you want winter crops) installed
- Download the mod and extract the folder
- Drag & drop the folder directly into the /Mods and play!
Uninstalling
- Simply destroy all crops that are growing from this mod and delete any seeds you have bought from your inventory/chests/fridge etc.
- Remove the Forage to Farm file from the mods folder
Notes:
Because of the coding for vanilla "Seasonal" Seeds these forage items can not turned into crop seeds with the seed maker -

- New art for most crops.
- Changed growth rates for all crop to give a little more diversity
- Seed and sapling prices have been changed.
- Harvest chance has been changed for mushrooms
- Seeds are more spread out between a few shops/traders
- A select few crops are now locked until you become better friends with your neighbors
- Once moved in the Raccoon family will have almost all seeds available to trade depending on how many times you help them.
