With the new 1.6 update we got a new farm type which comes with a pre-built coop and two little chicks.
However, this is currently not possible without adding a building with C#... Until now!
This mod allows modders to add buildings to be instantly placed on a map through a custom asset which can be edited through content patcher or C#.
For Players:
This mod does nothing on its own, if you're not here because another mod depends on it, you most likely won't need it.
For Mod Authors:
To get started as quick as possible, documentation is provided on the github page.
How to install :
1. Install Smapi
2. Unzip the file and place it in the mod folder
