It seems like GrowthChance and Spreadshance aren't being applied to Blue Grass. I did some testing on a fresh farm, and with both values set to a maximum, the regular grass grows significantly faster, but blue grass seems unaffected

(I can post screenshots with more details if you want, but here's my SMAPI Log: https://smapi.io/log/59c59664721c496cbf73d151c40b1122 )

How does DailyGrowth work exactly? Does a value of 10 mean only ten tiles of grass would grow in a whole farm every day? Can I make the value bigger than 10 by editing the json file itself?

A value of 10 means that every tile of grass tries to grow 10 times. For each growth attempt Growth and Spread Chance then determine whether it will actually grow.

Is there a way to make grass spread in the winter still?

Im having an issue where on the medowlands farm the blue grass is not spreading onto the grassy tiles. I have the settings cranked all the way up and the grass is spreading to tillable spots, but not onto the grassy area. It seems to be spreading onto the small grassy areas but not onto the large grass area towards the left on the farm.

I investigated myself and found the problem. The Meadowlands Farm has many dirt tiles (the tiles with partly grass and partly dirt) set as NoSpawn. And those are the tiles between dirt and grass patches. This prevents any type of spawning like weed, twigs, stones and so on and is still active with this mod. You don't want this mod to ignore this rule completely, because then it would grow literally everywhere. But I think the mod author could use the property "Buildable" because the combination of "Diggable" and "Buildable" tiles should allow the grass to grow in all the places you commonly want.

But this also means any Grass Starter grows if placed on grass patches until it reaches the edges. For Meadowland Farm you would need to spawn a Blue Grass Starter if you don't want to w8 until the endgame. Otherwise there are multiple tiles where the grass can grow from dirt to grass and then spread.
The whole bottom edge of the top dirt patch of the beginning coop and 6 tiles in the center of the farm on the vertical edge between central grass area and bottom dirt area.

      Tldr;
Most but not all tiles between grass and dirt patches have another rule preventing grass to grow there. Maybe the mod author can fix this, otherwise plant starter on the grass patches or let the blue grass grow to the tiles that allow growing from dirt to grass.

Take the latest version below 7.0 for both of the mods. I.e. 6.*

Does this also apply to the new blue grass, or just the original green grass?

This mod does not yet work for SDV 1.6. I'm working on an update.

    Thanks for the mod.

How does this affect forest farm's forageables? AFAIK grass prevents them from appearing, no?

I would also like to know this, and is it true for the hardwood stumps as well?

EDIT: i have seen that forageables no longer spawn I have not tested hardhood stumps yet)
BUG: even after removing the mod, and starting a new save file, forageables still do not spawn. PLEASE HELP!

Is this still happening? I really hope I didn't just install a mod that permanently stops forageables from spawning :/

There's nothing I can say about this. I suppose that places where there's grass there won't spawn other things. But if you remove that grass, those forageables should spawn normally, regardless whether you have the mod installed. If forageables don't spawn, your guess is as good as mine. Maybe another mod is causing problems?
