How on earth do I download the original town buildings? I see that the links are posted, but I do not know Korean and when I enter the page it's blank white aside from a popup I can't read and can't copy to translate.
You need a verified naver acocunt to access it, here's a guide to verify your naver account. There's a number of people outside of korea that has an account, though some people has issues (bc of their sns, just don't want to show their id, or other factors).
And once again, Naver is not a modding site, it's a Korean online platform which is why there's id verification.
a mod one cant even aquire unless u go through the tedious process of not only making a naver account u then have to give it your phone and to top that all off YOUR PERSONAL ID yea no why is this on here its like dangling candy in front of us then saying nope cant has... ugh.. 🙁
Do you or anyone else who might see this know of a matching or semi matching for farm buildings? I have a Naver account so I have the town recolors, but from what i can tell from looking at the art its just the town, no farm buildings.
those are beautiful! i downloaded the original town buildings to match but willy's fish shop and elliot's cabin are showing up as vanilla :( i don't know korean and couldn't figure out how to comment on author's naver post about this, but could anyone show me how to do it right, please?
The beach buildings retexture released by the original author is not actually a mod, but several pictures for you to use to modify the original game files by yourself. It is a bit difficult for me to explain in detail how to do it with just words. This involves some process of making a CP mod, maybe you can search for some tutorials, or look on the Stardew Valley wiki. I remember that the wiki wrote about how to unpack the original game files into editable images, and then convert the edited images back to the previous file format.
Could you possibly ask the OG mod maker to post their mods to nexus? Trying to navigate Naver is basically impossible for someone not in korea, I've gotten so far as to make an account but I am extremely uncomfortable with the idea of sending my government id to this place.
The author of the original mod has been inactive for a long time. Although I released this mod recently, it has actually been a long time since I contacted the original author to ask for permission...
This houses look so pretty! I don't use SVE lol. Also, I wished you posted this on Naver rather than on Nexus because comments on mods that require a Naver mod or is an add-on can get pretty.... eh in the best case and bad in the worst case.
Thank you for answering other people's questions in the comment section. I do realize that there are some comments saying that they can't use naver, but I don't know how to help them. Thank you very much.
But It's a little bit difficult for me to post my mod on naver. I only obtained a verified account according to the tutorial in my language, and can download those beautiful mods on the website, but I can't read Korean yet, which creates some barriers for me to use this website more deeply.
Thank you for your suggestion, but I'm sorry that I may not be able to do so at the moment. Perhaps in the future, when I can read Korean and become more familiar with Naver, I will do so.
I will set the post you answered as sticky post, hoping it can help more people who are confused about the issue with the Naver account. Thank you again.<3
