Ever wanted to have your very own Lassie? This mod replaces the default dogs with rough collies, a sheep herding breed perfectly suited to life on the farm. (Note: this mod does not add herding functionality.)

Features:
- 4 different coat colours based on real collie colourations.
- Includes classic tipped ears as well as alternate prick ears for each coat colour.
- Full set of animations and menu icons for each style.
- Replace the default dogs in any order (or keep some if desired).
- Also supports the Alternative Textures framework.
Installation:
- Install SMAPI.
- Install either Content Patcher or Alternative Textures.
- Install Generic Mod Config Menu for in-game configuration menu (optional).
- Download either the Content Patcher or Alternative Textures version of this mod to match desired framework.
- Extract into your \StardewValley\Mods\ folder.
- Run the game using SMAPI.
Configuration (Content Patcher version):
- Can be done either through the in-game menu (if using Generic Mod Config Menu) or the config file that is generated when the mod is first run.
- The 5 slots correspond to the default dogs in the order they appear in the new game selection (see attached images for chart).
- By default, the mod is configured to replace all dogs with a preset mix of styles.
- Select "none" to continue using the default dog for that slot.
Configuration (Alternative Textures version):
- Buy the Scissors item from Robin and use on dog to select desired collie style.
Styles:
- Sable 1 - sable coat with tipped ears
- Sable 2 - sable coat with prick ears
- Sable merle 1 - sable merle coat with tipped ears
- Sable merle 2 - sable merle coat with prick ears
- Tricolour 1 - tricolour coat with tipped ears
- Tricolour 2 - tricolour coat with prick ears
- Blue merle 1 - blue merle coat with tipped ears
- Blue merle 2 - blue merle coat with prick ears
Known issues:
- Using the Alternative Textures version of this mod, a minor graphical glitch with duplicate heart/sleep bubbles may occur when interacting with dogs. This is purely cosmetic and does not affect functionality of the mod.
