A new item called "Journal" has been added. You can buy it from Pierre's for 200g. If you right click while holding it (while not in a menu), it will bring up eight textboxes, each for a line of text. There's also buttons to go to the next page or previous page (maximum 100 pages). You can save to the Journal and exit the menu by pressing the "OK" button, or "sign" it using the Duck Feather button, which will put your farmer name and date written onto the title and turn it into a "Signed Journal", which contains all the text you wrote, now unable to be edited, and viewed similarly to a mail letter.
