Remove the flying monsters that randomly appear off screen in the mines - including the skull caverns. This also affects monsters spawned during the fog. However, flying monsters that spawn during level load are left alone.

Has it ever bothered you to completely eradicate all the slimes and grotesque bats deep in the mines, only to be using your trusty pickaxe and have a bat randomly seek out your blood? After you were certain you had cleared the level, forcing you to select your weapon once again to smite it down. Well join us in the Guild of Lazy Gamers where we just can't be bothered to scroll our mouse wheel to the sword and back and remove those randomly added flying monsters in the mines today!
Download this mod and unzip it into Stardew Valley/Mods.
Run the game using SMAPI.
How to use Install and by default the randomly added monsters will no longer be a problem. You can turn this off in the config file, as well as set a hotkey button so you can toggle it on/off during gameplay.
Compatibility
Works with Stardew Valley 1.3 beta on Windows.
Works in single player.
I have not tested it on anything other than the above. This is a simple mod however, so it should work just fine.
Harmony
The method used to spawn the monsters does not check a variable or use any other code that SMAPI can natively interface with. Therefore Harmony is used to simply remove the call to this 'spawn' function. If you set HarmonyLoad to false in the config, this mod will effectively stop working as if "NoRandomMonsters" was also false.
