Overhauls community center bundles and rewards to a themed Sandy/Botanist-focused storyline challenge.

These community center bundles and rewards have a botanist-focused theme and are developed around the NPC Sandy, specifically created for a custom Sandy-themed challenge run for the game. Modified bundles included reformatted former bundles such as the Watering Can (formerly Blacksmith's) Bundle and a condensed Crab Pot (freshwater fish only) Bundle as well as new bundles including Beehouse Bundle, Desert Fish Bundle, Gardening Club Bundle and more!

As these bundles are inspired by Sandy, her likes, storyline, and role, many bundles take inspiration from floral-adjacent items (such as the Hello Sweetie Bundle being fish that request honey in their fish ponds or the Seedmaker Bundle, which mimics the construction of a seedmaker) or concepts related to the Calico Desert where Sandy resides and keeps her shop, such as the Secret Dealings Bundle and the Skull Cavern Treasure Room Bundle.

We have customized multiple versions of the community center for challenge runs. We will continue to provide updates on the other custom Community Centers we have created when those mods can also be posted.



This mod was originally designed for use in the Sandy's Beautiful Botany Challenge developed by mallory. This mod implements changes to the community center bundles to enhance the challenge run, allowing the completion of the Community Center to better support the themed challenge. The creator of this challenge, Mallory, has created a website for players interested in trying out this and other developed challenges with additional free resources for creators and streamers. 

Players looking to complete these bundles in conjunction with Sandy's Beautiful Botany Challenge can learn more by going to the challenge run website. Players do not need to complete any additional challenges if they'd like to use the Botanist Community Center bundles-the mod has been uploaded for anyone looking to try out a customized Community Center regardless of their interest in any additional challenges.

  • Download and unzip Challenging Community Center Bundles - Base Version (found in the optional files section of the Challenging Community Center Bundles mod) and add all files to your Stardew Valley/Mods directory.
  • Open the game. This will prompt SMAPI to generate a config file in the Challenging Community Center Bundles mod folder.
  • Close out Stardew Valley after SMAPI has fully run and the Start Menu loads.
  • Download the custom community center for your desired challenge run.
  • Unzip the files and move both the [CP] and [CCCB] folders to your Stardew Valley/Mods directory.
  • Update the name of the bundle variant in your “ChallengingCommunityCenterBundles” config file to the name corresponding to your chosen community center.
  • For the Botanist Community Center Bundles you will use “Botanist_Bundles”.

NOTE: It is not recommended to add this mod into an existing save file, as it may cause errors in SMAPI and is best suited to be installed prior to the creation of a new save file. It *may* work inside of a current save files but has been known to cause some errors when doing so. If you experience errors related to the bundles in a current save file, it is recommended to create a new file to use this mod.



The development of this mod would not have been possible without the Challenging Community Center Bundles mod by Alvadea and Jaksha. They created a wonderful framework which allows us to customize our community centers and have updated their mod to include a base version now in 1.6, making installation and usage of this mod even easier!



This bundle is compatible with all mods except those that also edit the community center sprites or bundle items. 

There is a known incompatibility with Seasonal Outfits - Slightly Cuter Aesthetic. This will cause most of the bundle sprites on the bulletin board to not display properly, but will cause no other gameplay issues.
