In case anyone is wondering, this mod works perfectly with 6480's Giant Crops. With the single growth crops you don't have to do anything different, but with the regrowable ones you just have to wait for it to grow until its first harvest and then harvest it. Once you have the fully grown, but empty, plant you can press your growing button to spawn the giant crop.

Just wanted to comment that this does work with the most up-to-date Stardew. I wanted to test some crops mods and this was a lifesaver. Thanks!
Edited to add: if it seems like it isn't working, make sure your cursor is also hovering over where you are standing in the top left. I sometimes had to move around a little to make sure I was in the right spot too.
The mod doesn't seem to be working, i have a small keyboard and i have to press shift to use the button suggested, and it doesn't seem to work, I'm not sure what to do
