About this mod
Normally, it is impossible in Stardew Valley 1.3 beta to get Blue Chickens in multiplayer, even after seeing the 8-heart event with Shane. This mod changes that so the Blue Chicken chance returns after any player has seen the event.

This mod adds functionality to the game that allows players to get Blue Chickens in multiplayer mode, which usually isn't possible. The conditions for getting those chickens are unchanged, but after any player (host or farmhand) sees the 8-heart event with Shane, Blue Chickens will be available to everyone.Note: When purchasing chickens, you still will only see brown or white chickens at the naming screen. However, there will still be a 25% chance that it will be a Blue Chicken once you actually get it.
This is the only deviation from the base game.Install
- Install the latest version of SMAPI.
- Download this mod and unzip it into Stardew Valley/Mods.
- Run the game using SMAPI.
Compatibility
- Works with Stardew Valley 1.3 beta on Linux/Mac/Windows.
- Works in single player and multiplayer. Has no effect on single player. Note that for this mod to trigger in multiplayer, at least one player must have seen Shane's 8-heart event.
Changelog
- Version 1.1.0: Fixed mod so that you no longer have to sleep before the chickens turn blue. Chickens will appear blue as soon as you enter the coop or see them on your land.
