In search of a quiet life post-rebellion, Peeta Mellark seeks solace in Pelican Town. Panem still doesn't feel like a safe place, even years after the dust has settled on District 12 and the rest of the nation. After stumbling across Pelican Town in an old history book, Peeta decides to move there and start a bakery of his own. Mayor Lewis introduced him to Gus, who offered Peeta room and board. The unused kitchen and adjacent bedroom would be a perfect start for him, Gus thought. Peeta would help Gus expand his business through his baked goods in exchange for 80% of the profits and a room to sleep in.

This mod is a self-indulgent project. There are lot of headcanons, but I tried to make the NPC mostly accurate to his canon lore. Obviously, canon details in the franchise will require you to do some mental gymnastics in order for this mod to work. I've left it open-ended so you can just make up whatever you want.

I've not specified how many years have passed since the Rebellion. It's open for you to decide to align with your farmer.

This mod was made with the intention of the NPC being romanced. Most dialogue pre-10 hearts/pre-bouquet has been kept as platonic as possible to accomodate players who do not wish to romance him.

I aimed to remove any gendered language geared toward the farmer. If there are any gender-specific pronouns left, please let me know, and I'll fix the dialogue accordingly.

Yes, but absolutely NO AI.

Can I expand on the NPC?
Unless it requires C#, I would prefer the development to remain with me alone. Short answer: no.
I am however, always open to suggestions for dialogue, heart events, art, etc.

Can I translate this mod?
Yes please! That would be great. I will have to get the mod ready with the i18n stuff, which will take me a bit!
