Welcome to Polished Penny, a Penny refresh mod.

We all love Penny, but let's face it: she's boring. It's not her fault! The potential is there! Someone just had to uncover it, and that someone is me!

I injected some life and personality into Penny's old dialogue, as well as giving her entirely new dialogue! She now talks about her interests, hobbies, and dreams. You'll be hearing about things like:
  • Childhood memories
  • Penny's green thumb
  • Book clubs
  • Poetry
  • Seashell collections
  • Choosing her name
  • College courses
  • Favorite books
  • Favorite treats
  • Childhood dreams

I do have future plans to edit her event/festival dialogue!
Things to Keep in Mind:
  • This version of Penny is based heavily off of my own interpretation of the character. What I think may not line up with what someone else thinks, and that's okay!
  • This version of Penny is transgender, MTF. There are some vague mentions of this, including the choosing of her name and her transition. There are no mentions of a deadname or referring to Penny with male pronouns.
  • Triggers to look out for: mentions of alcoholism and anxiety.
Other Things of Note:
  • In my screenshots, I'm using Diverse Stardew Valley, by AirynS! This mod greatly enhances gameplay, so I highly recommend it!
  • My fiancée is the author of Pride in the Valley, another diverse and inclusive mod! I know I may sound biased, but it really is an amazing mod.
