Changelogs
Version 1.0.1
Updated to include Nexus Update Key; redownload not necessary unless you want to be notified of updates.
To install: Unzip the file and add it to your Mods folder. The default location on Windows is C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Stardew Valley/Mods, but it may vary by operating system. That's just what it is on mine.
To use in game: Select the Hand Mirror (which comes with Fashion Sense and can be purchased at Pierre's General Store). Click through the hair options until you find an adorable ✨Super-long✨ hairstyle!
No configuration is necessary, but if you want to reposition the hair, follow these steps: 1. Locate the individual hairstyle's JSON file.
Example: /Hairs/TSP SuperLong 1/hair.json
2. Edit the "HeadPosition", "Y" values. Positive numbers will move it up, negative numbers will move it down. (The "X" values can be edited to move it sideways.)
Don't edit the "StartingPosition". This refers to the location of the hair picture within the png file. Example, the RightHair image begins at pixel 32. If you changed that to 16, it would show half of the image of the front hair, and half of the image of the right hair.
To test your repositioning while the game is running, use the fs_reload command in your terminal window. This will reload all of your Fashion Sense mods, and you will immediately see the change in your game.
(Note, the pack is called "Hairpack 1", but it is currently the only pack. I just plan to make others. If you're still seeing this note, it's still the only one. 🙃)
