About this mod

Ever wanted to make some rare wine with that rare sweet gem berry? Well, now you can! Adds Sweet Gem Berry Wine to the game and allows you to craft it in a keg and age it in a cask. Uses Producer Framework Mod, Json Assets, and CustomCaskMod.

Requirements
Permissions and credits

Ever since I first tried to put a sweet gem berry in a cask and couldn't, I've felt cheated, empty, devoid of happiness...so I decided to make it possible! This mod allows for sweet gem berries to be placed in a keg to be turned into wine, and introduces a new object, sweet gem berry wine! This wine can then be added to casks to age it like normal in-game wine, and is considered an Artisan Good, so it benefits from the Artisan profession.

This is aimed as a later game product, as the base wine sells for 15,000 gold, and the iridium aged wine sells for 30,000 gold. Also, it gives us players with Stardew Valley Expanded a chance to compete with Sophia's Blue Moon Wine!

Requirements

This mod requires a few others to work. This includes Json Assets, Custom Cask Mod, and Producer Framework Mod. Optionally, if you want my mod to work with Automate, you will want to download PFMAutomate as well.

Installation

Download the .zip file, and extract it with a software like 7zip. Then place the extracted file in your Mod folder.
If you need more guidance, this modding guide is a great resource!

Compatibility

This mod is compatible with 1.6 and SVE, and I've had no conflicts on my heavily modded save file.

As always, it isn't wise to have too many Json Asset mods downloaded at once, as that can cause problems. I don't think this will be too much of an issue with my mod though, as it only adds one object!

Credits

Thank you to spacechase0 and Digus for their great frameworks, guides, and templates, without which I couldn't have made this, my first mod of all time!

Future Thoughts...

Considering adding Sweet Gem Berry Preserves as well if anyone shows interest in that. Feedback is welcome in the comments, I'm new to this and would love to learn more!
