Sadly still not for everybody but the project is not given up. Check out the "Got an issue?" Tab on the project website for more help. Huge thanks to the awesome community members who contributed on finding workarounds and solutions to open issues.
hypothetically, if I only wish to build 8 cabins; would we be able to add in code that modified the cabins to have multiple players coded into the cabins? concept to be if a player leaves and somebody else wanted to play, you pheasably could have mutliple players assigned to any of the available cabins without having to build extras. or would this be too much of a hassle?
Hey. So I see that there is a way to block mods. Does that mean that any player who is on the server can use which ever mod they wish to use unless otherwise prevented? Or do I have to have the mods on my end?
Also do the other players have to have the same mods that I do in order to avoid a crash?
Do players have to use the same mods I do in order to access the features? I would like to set up things so that there are lots of farming places using mods like Star Dew Realty and Multiple Farms for Multi player.
I love that there's a Denylist for certain mods, however, would it be possible to have an Allowlist option instead?
There are so many mods that could potentially cheat, and instead of having to keep an eye out for all mod releases and add them to the denylist, it would be much easier if I could just add allowed mods to an allowedlist instead and everything else is automatically not allowed.
Hello, I can't activate the mod on my phone. I've been trying to do this for at least a while, but nothing works. Although I'm fine with Smapi and the rest of the mods. Please help me solve this problem!!!! 🙏
That's the default behaviour by Stardew Valley. However, I agree it can be a useful feature to restrict slots to the player that created the farmer. Will look into it and try to make it a feature.
It would be nice if there was an option for the auth function. So that you can access the character only when you enter the password you set when you connect
As host while using the mod, you will see in your SMAPI console a list of mods a player is using as they join. In here you can also input console commands. I.e. entering "bank statement" will list all existing players and their bank balance.
The mod ban list can be seen and modified within the config file located in your Stardew Valley mods folder
Hi, does anyone know if this mod works with preexisting co-op farms? my friends and i have an 8 player farm but want to be able to have more of us play on the save if we can, and not lose all our progress

What gives?

Other players will be able to join using the regular client.
