This mod gives several of the existing adventurer's guild rewards unique enchantments and interactions. This also works retroactively on items from existing saves. This gives you a taste of enchantments before you are far enough into the game to apply them to all of your gear.
Insect Head:

You obtain the Insect Head by completing the bug killing quest, so it's only fitting for this reward to be enchanted with the Bug Killer enchantment to make future bug squashing easier.
The 1.6 update also recently buffed this weapon. If you think having a damage increase and an enchantment is too much, I added a config value to revert the 1.6 damage buff.
Templar's Sword Corruption:

Once you have obtained either the Vampire Ring from the bat killing quest or the Arcane Hat from the mummy killing quest, you can use their power to corrupt the Templar's Sword (which you can buy from the adventure's guild) into either the life stealing Dark Blade or the undead smiting Holy Blade.
This is done by killing 10 (configurable in the config) enemies with the Templar's Blade while wearing either the Vampire Ring or the Arcane Hat. These two swords are obtainable in the base game, but have a low drop chance and small drop pool, so this makes obtaining them easier and thematic.

Bone Throwing Enchantment:
Once you have obtained the Skull Mask from the skeleton killing quest, and the Bone Sword either as a drop from skeletons, from remixed mine chests or by buying it from the adventurer's guild, using the Secondary Special Attack of the Bone Sword while wearing the Skull Mask will throw a bone in the direction you are facing.

Defense Granting Helmets:
The Hard Hat and Knight's Helmet quest rewards as well as the Squire's Helmet are now functional. The Knight's Helmet increases your defense by 2, the other two by 1. It's a small boost, but hats should be mostly cosmetic after all.

Requirements:
SMAPI: I built version 1.0 of this mod based on version 4.0.1. It should be compatible with a few future versions and a few prior version. You can get the latest version of SMAPI here.
Installation:
Install SMAPI. Then extract the content of the downloaded zip file into the SMAPI mods folder and start the game via the SMAPI launcher or Steam if you have set the launch option for SMAPI in Steam. The config file will be generated inside the folder of the mod. Close the game to edit it and restart the game.
You can also optionally use Generic Mod Config Menu to change the config ingame without the need to restart (otherwise you need to restart) but it is not required to be installed.
Updating:
Simply delete the prior version, install the new one and check the updated config created after the first startup (Changes require restart to take effect if you have not made them with Generic Mod Config Menu).
Uninstallation:
You can delete this mod from your mods folder at any time to remove the features. Since these items are all base game items, you will keep them and their base game enchantments, but they will lose their other unique interactions.
