Important things to say before we start (it would be good for you to read it but you can skip to the content part if you like):
- I used the Adarin Mod as a base for the girls' sprites. Unlike Adarin, who chose to create new characters by practically changing the color of the skin, eyes and clothes of the characters, I chose to keep as much as possible the appearance of the girls with respect to their male version, including their clothing. I tried to give unique personalities to the characters with their appearance without losing the way they usually are, with small changes in clothing when everything else failed. Shane is the only character that Adarin didn't make, so I took a lot of liberties with his design.
- The portraits were created using Anime AI. All portraits were created with AI and then edited by me using Paint.net (hence the name PaiNT). I am not interested in the world of drawing and AI, I simply use the resources at my disposal. Editing content made by AI is like correcting a coworker's horrible work, it's not very satisfying. For those interested in how I edited these portraits, I will leave in the images tab all the images used and the before and after editing of the base image.
- This mod does not change the dialogues of the game. In the dialogues, girls will continue to be treated as boys and there will be no changes in the names (Yes, they have new names). I think there are mods that solve this, I will investigate.
- That is the important information. Next will be a description of the mod and the characters.
Content:
This mod replaces the 6 bachelors in the game with girls, each of whom share obvious similarities with their male counterparts. It includes all the Sprites to date and also includes the beach Sprites. Each is accompanied by their respective portraits simulating the reactions that their male counterparts would have.
Facts & Curiosities: "Name (Original name / Height in pixels)"
- Alexis (Alex / 26px): A girl with a very masculine and confident manner. She likes sports and her hair, and also her hair.
- Ellie (Elliott / 27px): With a calm and youthful appearance, you would be very surprised if she got angry. You wouldn't dare, would you?
- Harley (Harvey / 26px): She has a lot on her head, plus hair that makes her look taller than she really is. Some say she is prettier with glasses and others say she is prettier without. I am blind.
- Samy (Sam / 26px): I don't know where this girl gets so much energy from! It is said that when she runs out of energy she doesn't even bother to cut her hair and it grows until you can't see her eyes. No one can confirm this.
- Sebastienne (Sebastian / 25px): She is the smallest of the village (in height), is that why she always looks at you ugly? can she see you behind that tuft of hair she wears?
- Shannon (Shane / 30px): She really is tall. She always has a very tired and unfriendly face, she should take it easy. She let her hair grow too long...
Required Mods:
- Generic Mod Config Menu: Needed to see the descriptions of what each option of my mod does.
- HD Portraits or Portraiture: Required to load portraits correctly.
- Flower Dance Fix: The change of sex of the characters brings problems to this specific event, with the help of this mod that can be solved... more or less.
- Dialogue Changes: A partial solution to the change of names in the dialogs.
Known problems:
- Dialogues do not change. It is worth repeating.
- In some rare cases it is possible that the Flower Dance Fix mod may not work. The worst thing that can happen is that you dance alone and your partner is somewhere on the map lost. It does not affect the operation of the event.
- Portraiture may not display the alternative portraits as it should, especially when displaying the full size portrait. HD Portraits is better in these cases.
If any artist wants to create their own portraits of these characters is more than welcome to do it, if you like you can let me know when you do it, I like to know about these things!
Any bugs or problems you encounter please report them as soon as possible with as much detail as you can provide. Do not report "There is a bug in the animation of x character" and then go away for 10 years.
