Version 1.1
Added ability to whitelist items
UPDATED FOR THE MULTIPLAYER VERSION
Description: Tired of constantly canceling the eating prompt when you didn't mean for it to appear? Do you want to turn your brain off while refilling a room full of kegs or preserves? To run around with an egg above your head while smashing the action button down with listless abandon like a blissful, brainless ape?
Me too.
This simple quality of life mod allows you to specify items that you don't want to be prompted to eat. Because really, who would ever want to chow down on tree sap?
Download this mod and unzip it into Stardew Valley/Mods.
Check the readme and change config.json to your liking. The items excluded by default are animal products and harmful stuff.
Run the game using SMAPI.
Enjoy your life a bit more.
Notes: I haven't tested this mod with custom items, but if they're injected into Content\Data\ObjectInformation.xnb using the process outlined here then I imagine it will work as long as that happens before this mod is loaded. It avoids triggering the animation code at all so it should work with Fast Animations.
Compatible with Stardew Valley 1.2+ on Linux, Mac, and Windows. Requires SMAPI 2.9 or later.
