About this mod
Enables a Predefined selection of mods that you have on Stardrop. (Build It Yourself Kit Edition)
- Requirements
- Permissions and credits
This mod lets you enable a predefined set of mods at once in stardrop rather than enabling each one individually. Great for quickily developing your next stardrop profile ready for a new adventure in stardew valley.
you can configure which mods you would like to be enabled by adding their unique ID to the dependency field of the manifest.
example of Manifest (enables content patcher)
Future
The current version is a build it yourself kit where you add the mods you want enabled yourself but in future. I might make pre defined selections varriants for you to choose from if i am not feeling lazy.
Disclaimer!
This mod does not install any mods by itself. It simply enables the mods from your "stardrop installed mods" folder via Stardrop. You will need to have the mods installed for Stardrop Quick Start to enable them.
Big thanks to the modded farmers and mod authors from the various stardew valley discord servers that i am apart of.
A maybe better description of how to use Stardrop quick start and it's objective.
so let's say you have a bunch of mods you always use when you are creating a stardrop profile. instead of individually enabling each mod, you can include the unique ID (see example in files section) of the mods you want it to enable in the dependency field of the manifest.json of stardrop quick start.
once you have added all of the mods you want it to enable into the dependency field, you can then save your work in the text editor, close the text editor, go to stardrop, install your edited version of stardrop quick start onto stardrop. (or if you have it already installed, you can edit the manifest.json of the version you have installed) then enable it in stardrop and it will also enable all of the mods that you put in your dependency field.
This does require a tiny bit of leg work on your end but once you have it set up then you can quickly make new profiles! if you want, you can make multiple versions of stardrop quick start and have each one with different content in their dependency fields.
