Installing this mod allows you to place all vanilla rugs and floor divider furniture items outside. Yes, it works with Alternative Textures and Content Patcher! If you have a different skin for any of these furniture pieces, it should show up in the game!
Another mod also adds this ability, as well as some other great features: Atra's Interaction Tweaks (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/10192) If you are on PC, I recommend checking it out! I had a request to make my version because it works in a way which is currently a little more mobile-friendly than Atra's. So here it is!
This will be the last in the "Furniture Anywhere Redux" series for now (see below for the rest of the mods in the series). Any remaining furniture items either require additional coding which is beyond my ability, or can already be placed outside in the vanilla game. The main types of furniture that I won't be including are beds and wall items like windows or pictures. (Furniture that is placed on walls only works on certain interior walls, so even if it can 'placed' outside, there's nothing to attach it to! Beds can be placed outside with the use of Esca's Modding Plugins (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/9296). You'll need to make sure the Config setting "AllowBedPlacementEverywhere": is set to true. The method I use won't work with beds, unfortunately.)
If I've missed any furniture types that you would like to see included other than those listed above, please let me know and I'll add it! A lot of Vanilla furniture can already be placed outside, so make sure that you really can't place it outside before posting about it, please.
