The recolor is very incomplete. Before posting about an asset not displaying correctly, check the main page to see if it's on the to-do list. Unfortunately, I have other commitments and my recolors aren't simple desaturation/filter jobs. Assembling the color palettes, tweaking them to fit each asset, and playtesting them in various conditions takes a lot of time and work. I figured players would rather have a mostly-working Starblue while I finish working on new stuff. I'll be updating a few more times as more assets are completed.

Though I understand why, I was disappointed that Ginger Island reused the basic summer assets for most of the island. I'm looking forward to putting together something new for Ginger Island, but that's going to be the longest and most ambitious part of the update.
Because of the size of the update, I'm not taking requests.
I do not provide support for other mods, especially not SVE. There are simply too many and I already provide a lot of config options to minimize conflict.
Starblue is only available in English. Creating localized overlays is extremely time-consuming for me. I will look into options for making it easier for players to create language-compatible packs once Starblue is in better shape.
Also, I'm at the earliest stages of planning for Ginger Island, so if players want to post ideas/inspiration for a Ginger Island recolor, please feel free to do so! I want the island to be distinct from the mainland, maybe a bit more vibrant but still softer than the vanilla game (I hear y'all out there who use Starblue because vanilla gives you headaches). No promises anyone's ideas will go into the final product, but I'll review them all.
Considering how long ago the last update to this was and its been over a year since OP was active, I believe it is safe to say that this mod has been abandoned. However, I love Starblue Valley and am currently working on updating it to 1.6 and adding any missing 1.5 items as well until they can make a return. This is kind of a big undertaking so may take some time but I will edit this with a link once I'm done!
Please note, because of how things needed to be updated, I did have to port over the existing tilesheets to the new mod, so only that one is required for Starblue Valley to work. I would have preferred to just build on top of this mod, but some things were super broken otherwise :(
Oh hey, I'm doing the same (albeit for personal use)! Kind of overwhelmed by how many things there are to update + edit, so no ETA on my end either. Good luck to you; may we both find the work smooth and done more quickly than we think!
Side note for anyone looking to update on their own like CherrySymphony and I: I went thru the assets folder for Starblue and compared the contents vs the unpacked vanilla game's asset folder. Hope this can help! I'm not sure how much it applies to other recolors that need updating, as this list is formulated specifically for Starblue's circumstances.

Is there any way other folks can help on this, to get it done faster? Since a few folks say they're working on it on their own, we could all combine forces!
@astraldepths I think it depends on where people started and what they've done? I started on the main map tiles for the farms and foliage, then I'll be moving onto ginger island.
I do know one aspect that is going to be a pain is testing to make sure everything was updated.
@CherrySymphony @astraldepths - I've been organizing information (like that spreadsheet) before getting to the recolor process proper (currently palette swatching the starblue assets in aseprite for easy replacing and it is slow going). I did do spring_OutdoorsTileSheet2.png as a test (since I'm a novice and needed to feel it out), but it sounds like Cherry is much further along than me! :D
I'm making good progress with the tilesheets for the new farm, trees, and ginger island. I can have a WIP mod uploaded this weekend (ideally Saturday) with these updates at least before moving on to the desert, craftables, and UI stuff.

I can help with the recolor (I'm a pixelart artist), I just don't know anything about mod programming, but you can send the images via discord, or drive, and explain what you want, and I'll be available to edit them, Starblue is mine Favorite recolor mod, and I'd be happy to help (my discord nickname: n4rco_gangster ), The only thing I ask in return is that you let me make compatibility for PT-BR (Brazil).
Update: Almost done with the initial stuff! Need to finish some fixes on Ginger Island and the trees, as well as figure out an issue with the Meadowlands map.

hii, i don't know if this mod is abandoned but i love the interface of this and i'd like to know if can i have permission to upload a mod only with the UI, i think it will be nice to ♡
Please upload the UI part of this separately. So many of us use this just for your beautiful UI. It's okay if you have abandoned this recolor, but UI is complete and I would really love to use it as a separate complete finished mod. <3
I know there are config options, but even if I turn off the map recolor it still overrides the map.
