FAQ

  • Does this work with modded textures for buildings? Basically no, the color masks are done manually. You would have to make the color masks yourself.
  • Can you adjust the color masks a bit? ... Maybe. It's pretty easy to do, btw, with just GIMP and the paintbucket tool. If there's, like, a large bit of outcry for something, I might add it, but it's easy enough to personalize it yourself. (In my laziness, I've even included the GIMP files XD)
  • The slime hutch is cut off in the preview ....Yeahhhh can't do anything about that without C#, sorry.
  • The fish pond water colors are awkward. It's mixed with fish-specific colors by the game so it's really hard to get a good pure color here using just the painting system.
  • What about the shipping bin? Turns out only the base can be targeted by the base game painting system.
  • The preview images have questionable color choices. They really are, I'm no artist, you can probably do better than me.



Install

  • Install the latest version of SMAPI.
  • Download and install Content Patcher.
  • Download this mod and unzip it into Stardew Valley/Mods.
  • Run the game using SMAPI.


Uninstall

Un-paint every building you have painted, and only then remove this mod from your mods folder.

Compatibility
  • Works with Stardew Valley 1.5.6 on Linux/macOS/Windows.
  • Works in single player, multiplayer, and split-screen mode. For multiplayer: you should probably install on all players.
