Magic Scarecrows adds a unique scarecrow to Stardew Valley.
Though it functions like any normal scarecrow, the Nature Ward Scarecrow comes fully animated, will act as a lightsource, and will change appearance depending on the season! Keep those pesky crows away with over-the-top totemic magic.

You can acquire the recipe in-game by reaching two hearts with everybody's favourite wizard, after which he will send the recipe by mail.

1: Make sure you have installed the requirements at the top of this page.
2: Unzip the folder into Stardew Valley\Mods or download using mod manager.
If using the excellent Immersive Scarecrows mod, the scarecrows will not update their appearance when the season changes if they are placed in between tiles. You will have to remove them and place them down a couple of times to get them to update.
I know they look like trees, and crows like trees, but it's magic, okay!? Yoba...
