This mod pushes Twitch chat messages of a specified channel into the ingame chat. For somewhat better readability each message sender is assigned one color, though the same can be used for multiple people.
If used in multiplayer, the messages will only be visible to the user of the mod, not the other players.
Download this mod and unzip it into Stardew Valley/Mods.
Run the game using SMAPI once, then close it again.
Edit the newly created config.json.
Re-run the game using SMAPI.
How to use You will need to provide login credentials for a Twitch account to the mod inside of config.json. You'll need to fill in the fields as follows:
"Username": the name of the Twitch account you want to use as login
"Password": the OAuth token of the Twitch account you want to use as login (it will be something like "oauth:token123"), you can get it here: https://twitchapps.com/tmi/. Keep in mind that you may have to refresh this token from time to time (I think after one week), since it will expire naturally.
"TargetChannel": the name of the Twitch channel you want to read the chat of
Compatibility
Works with Stardew Valley 1.5.6 on Linux/macOS/Windows.
Works in single player and multiplayer (splitscreen not tested yet).
