Pushes Twitch chat messages into the ingame chat so that you can read it without looking at another window.

This mod pushes Twitch chat messages of a specified channel into the ingame chat. For somewhat better readability each message sender is assigned one color, though the same can be used for multiple people.
If used in multiplayer, the messages will only be visible to the user of the mod, not the other players.

How to use
You will need to provide a Twitch account that the chat bot can use, you can use the one you use to stream or a separate one. For this, follow these steps:

Install
- Install the latest version of SMAPI.
- Download this mod and unzip it into Stardew Valley/Mods.
- Run the game using SMAPI once, then close it again.
- Edit the newly created config.json (or use Generic Mod Config Menu).
- Re-run the game using SMAPI.
How to use
You will need to provide a Twitch account that the chat bot can use, you can use the one you use to stream or a separate one. For this, follow these steps:
- Create a "Bot Chat Token" on the website https://twitchtokengenerator.com/ by choosing the "Bot Chat Token" option.
- Go through the login process and fill out the Captcha.
- In the Generated Tokens section, copy the ACCESS TOKEN value.
- If not using GMCM, run the game once to generate the config.json file. Once the file is made, open it in a text editor and fill out the Username and Password sections (for the latter, use the ACCESS TOKEN you generated in the last steps).
- Make sure to fill out the TargetChannel section with the name of the channel you want to inspect (usually your own channel).
- "IgnoredAccounts": here you can list names of accounts whose messages you do not want to be sent into the in-game chat, for example your bots
- "IgnoreCommands": if this is set to true, then messages that start with "!" will be ignored, since that is a common command prefix
Compatibility
- Works with Stardew Valley 1.6 on Linux/macOS/Windows.
- Works in single player and multiplayer (splitscreen not tested yet).
