A modern glass fireplace that works indoors or outdoors.
Relax on chilly desert nights in front of a nice firepit. Add more ambiance to your farm cave. Enjoy a modern-style, eco-friendly fireplace in the middle of your living room!
(This was made as a little side-project while working on a larger art furniture mod.)
『 What's this? 』
A simple furniture pack for DGA that adds a new type of fireplace so your farmer can expand their decorating horizons.
🔥 It works just like a normal fireplace, except it uses ethanol as fuel*¹ making it considerably more eco-friendly*² compared to traditional fireplaces that burn wood, coal, or gas. Since it doesn't produce any smoke or soot, it also doesn't require a chimney flue or vent.
『 Where do I get the fireplaces? 』
You can purchase them from Clint, everyone's favorite blacksmith!
Clint's been getting a bit tired of cracking geodes all day and has decided to branch out into the home decor market. Each fireplace is hand-crafted by him using the finest fair-trade materials available. Be sure to give him a high-five when you see him next (he really appreciates the encouragement).
FYI
🔥To simplify your life and shop menu, there will be only one fireplace item for sale. The variations are included. Just rotate the item before placing it to select the style you'd like! (Such sustainable packaging!)

Credits: DustBeauty for allowing the use of their assets from Industrial Furniture, which I've repurposed for the fireplace base, reclaimed wood variant, and glass colors.

I've got some ideas for some more interesting fireplaces down the road... And it's possible that Clint may wish to further expand on his stonework projects with some new furniture designs for the interior/exterior spaces. ~More will be revealed.~

Compatibility:

- It does not replace any of the base game's fireplaces. It adds its own unique fireplace furniture item.
- This fireplace will not work with existing AT packs for the base-game fireplaces as it is not the same size (it's 3 tiles wide).
- FAQ: It has no relationship to SVE or any parts of the game that SVE modifies, thus the two mods are able to exist together without problems or conflict.
- One minor note of incompatibility I just happened to notice: It is a DGA item and Smart Building has restrictions for the "more lax furniture placement" setting for DGA items so you can't place it using SB. But you really don't need to anyway—just plop it down with your capable farmer hands! (*unverified)

*¹ Disclaimer: while ethanol fireplaces are indeed a thing IRL, this is merely a bit of mod-marketing lore and has no effect on how the fireplace functions in the game (i.e. you don't need to fuel it, just interact with it as you normally would to turn it on).
*² Fireplaces in general are not the most sustainable heating solution and terms like "eco-friendly" are too often misused in green-washing attempts to sell more stuff to consumers. But I'll stop ruining the fun now! (Thank you for reading the description page ♡)
