Would there be any way to add an option to limit the tool radius? I love the tool implementation, but having the size locked to 7x7 at higher levels is kinda big. Would love to see an option to change the size either through a config option or even better see it implemented in game in some menu. Either way, love the mod and keep up the good work.

Holding shift reduces the tool radius to 1x1 for precision work, but that's the only way to reduce the range at the moment. Apologies if you're already aware.

I'm not supporting it actively at the moment because I don't have the time, and I'm holding my breath for SMAPI support in the post-multiplayer universe, whatever that looks like. I'm highly likely to port this so my wife and I can play with EE together.

However, for the future, the config option would be trivial - the in game menu, slightly more effort, but I wouldn't mind taking a stab at it. Thanks for the suggestion. (I'll add the note about 1x1 precision to the description, as I just noticed this isn't explained *anywhere*)

just gonna add some comment. x2 priced copper ore is nothing. thats just like 10 gold so. if you wanna break the game and even break this mod i the process, transmule lots of copper ore, smelt it to copper bar, liquidate all the copper bars, repeat. you may want to transmute coal as well which is what 30 a piece. that would make 30(coal) + 50(10 x 5 copper ore) = 80 gold only. and each copper bar is worth 90 gold so net gain of 10 gold per process.

    80 gp per copper bar(net 10 gp)
    130 gp per iron bar(net 50 gp)
    155 gp per gold bar(net 220 gp)
    1030 gp per iridium bar(net 420 gp)

and you have to remember that by transmuting things, you level your alchemy skill which reduce the rebound and lets you touch farm(allows you to use your farming tool at a range) farther and at greater range. remember, never buy the materials, transmute them. its cheaper. same goes to wood and stone. if i do recall, if you have a charcoal kiln, its waaaay cheaper to transmute wood and cook your own coal. it lets you subsidise that 30 gp per coal because you need 10 wood(30 gp) and a kiln to make a coal which is easier.

    50 gp per copper bar(net 40 gp)
    100 gp per iron bar(net 80 gp)
    125 gp per gold bar(net 250 gp)
    1000 gp per iridium bar(net 450 gp)

the calculated net gain is based on 30 + (n x 5) where n is the cost of an individual ore base cost minus the worth of a single bar.

    so 30 for coal + 10 + 5 which is 5 x 2 because of transmutation which is 80 gp. and a single bar of copper is 90 gp. 90 - 80 = 10. 10 gp net.

I'm just gonna give this a nice tasty thumbs up. 2x really isn't much. It's just barely enough to keep feedback loops close to checked, and it does *not* work. There's much higher feedback loops than the 2x [lowest shopkeeper markup possible, afaik], 2x was basically the bare minimum.

Thanks for the math! Do you think I should change it? Recommendations?

I have no idea how the modding functions on Stardew Valley or the complications behind it. This is a request I feel others may like as well though. Would you be able to release a fork of this. Basicaly selling for the normal sell price. Then buying for the regular buy price. So if stone and wood are both worth two gold. I would have to sell two of one to buy one of the other. This would ealy reduce the cheez capacity and allow this to be a convience thing more then a cheat thing.

Update your version, I've already done this, it's been this way for a few days at least.

I may be releasing a config option to turn it back to the old cheesy way, but I found that I preferred the double cost as well. This was made the default around 1.2.0 or so. At the moment it can't be changed. (If you didn't notice, the Mod description changed to reflect this as well: "Currently, an item always costs twice its value to create.")

There's not a fix for this yet. Entoarox is working on a skills framework me and spacechase0 can use to unify the skill page UI and remove the real estate issue, along with other bells and whistles. The vanilla skills page simply wasn't designed for 7 or more skills.

      What is this??
"Fix for the pickaxe transmutes not working in the mines."

For the update I mean, what does it fix, I am unsure what is meant.

Specifically, the pickaxe wasn't working on big rocks, in the version directly before it. I had introduced a bug, and you may not have gotten the version that experienced this.

Would it be possible to create a single choice menu when you hit a key instead one key per option?
Ex: press H, menu pops up, choose from, info, transmute, etc.

That isn't a good workflow. You want to click a button every time you need one item? Why would you want this:
Press Menu Button -> Mouse to Option you want -> click button -> one result
      vs this:
      Press button -> One Result
Press and Hold Button -> Many results

Are you just annoyed by having 4 new hotkeys?
