Adds Multiplayer to the beloved Arcade game - Journey of the Prairie King. Play with up to 4 players on your co-op worlds. Enjoy, go save that princess! :)

UPDATED TO WORK FOR 1.6
, other updates are still being worked on!

How to play
  • Walk up to the JOTPK Arcade Machine and press "Host Game" (or, if you want to continue your last prairie game, press "Host Game (Continue)")
  • Then, the other players can also interact with it and press "Join Game"
  • Once all the players are in, the host can start the game by pressing the space bar, as indicated on the screen.

Roadmap
  • Possibility to change key-bindings for JOTPK specifically (for hv568898) :)
  • Rebalancing for easy, default, and hard mode.
  • Possibly, but no priority: being able to run two Prairie King games at once in one world (see Known Issues).

Known Issues
  • You will not have a good time when playing with a (very) high ping.
  • Only one Multiplayer Prairie King game can be running at one time in one world.

FAQ
Does this override the original Prairie King game?
  • No. When interacting with the arcade system you will only have the two additional choices "Host" and "Join".
Do you still get the Arcade Machine after beating the game?
  • Yes. Just like in the original.
Are the original achievements unlockable when playing multiplayer?
  • Yes. That is the default setting, however, this can be configured in the config file for each of the two achievements.
Is this harder/easier than the original JOTPK?
  • We tried to keep the difficulty similar to the original one, however we feel like it is easier than before. This is subject to change and we would love feedback on the balancing aspect :) Difficulty is also configurable in the config file ("Possible values: "Easy", "Normal", "Hard"). By default it is set to "Normal"
