HELLOOO!
And welcome to yet another Robin Williams-inspired mod! This time it's none other than hip-hoppin', bebopin' Granny herself! So grab a cup o' cocoa, and settle in for the cozy nostalgia that is Euphegenia Doubtfire.
First, some things to note:
This mod uses Content Patcher to only overwrite Evelyn's name, dialogue (only when you first meet her), and character sprite and portrait sheets. It isn't a total overhaul or character replacer by any means. (I gave it a shot, but it didn't really work out.) That being said, if someone out there is up to the task, by all means, have at it. I leave it to you!
Second, you may notice that Evelyn's name hasn't been overwritten in your game. This is likely due to an unforeseen conflict with a mod that also edits character dialogue (i.e. "Canon-Friendly Dialogue Expansion"*). If this is the case, please report it to the Bugs tab, and I'll try to address it as quickly as possible.
Installation:
- Be sure to have the latest version of SMAPI and Content Patcher installed
- Download this mod and unzip it to your mods folder (Stardew Valley/Mods)
~ Avoid using using mod managers, such as Vortex, for Stardew Valley mods. It tends to only complicate things.
- Run the game and enjoy!
