About this mod

Replaces the Slime Hutch with a Winery building that can be filled with casks to age products just like the farm house cellar.

Inspired by the beautiful Winery building included in the Medieval buildings mod by Gweniaczek, this mod tries to make the Slime Hutch function as a fully fledged Winery, allowing you to place casks and age products. This mod includes a vanilla style sprite replacement for the Slime Hutch, so Gweniaczek's mod is not required, but it is recommended!

If you like the asset but don't want to replace the Slime Hutch, I've created an alternate version of this mod, New Building - Winery, which will add the Winery as an entirely new and seperate building.

  • Install the latest version of SMAPI.

  • Extract into your Stardew Valley/Mods/.
  • Run the game through SMAPI to generate a config.json file, and then close the game.
  • Edit the config file in a text editor, and configure the mod to your tastes. Carefully read the Configuration section below, and use it to guide you.
  • Run the game using SMAPI

AdjustedCost: True, False
Toggle whether you'd like the building costs for the Slime Hutch to be adjusted to make more sense for the Winery. This would remove the need for Refined Quartz and an Iridum Bar.

Layout: Original, Adjusted, Expanded
Sets the size of the Winery interior. Adjusted allows for a more optimal layout of Casks/Kegs over the original Slime Hutch size. Expanded doubles the size of the interior. Original is there for if you don't want any changes to be made to the size of the interior, despite the uneven layout of Casks you will need to use.

Style: Stone, Wood, Panelled
Sets the wall tiles of the Winery interior.

ReplaceBuildingSprite: True, False
Toggle whether you'd like to replace the default Slime Hutch sprite with a new Winery sprite. This should be set to false If you are using a slime hutch replacement from another mod, such as the Winery (Slime Hutch option 3) from Medieval buildings by Gweniaczek.

ReducedFootprint: True, False
Toggle whether you'd like to reduce the footprint of the building so it's not so massive, and better matches the Winery sprite (Only applicable when ReplaceBuildingSprite is set to true).
WARNING: Changing this will not alter the footprint of any existing Slime Hutches/Wineries in your save game. This may cause anomalies with collisions and the Winery in your save game.

RoofColour: Green, Blue, Red
Sets the colour of the roof on the replacement Winery sprite (Only applicable when ReplaceBuildingSprite is set to true).

This mod will not be compatible with any mods which alter the interior of the Slime Hutch. Other than that, there should be no problems running this mod with any others.
