A small mod that edits Kent’s 3 heart event to have better, more poignant writing and a more satisfying conclusion where Kent realises that he needs to start seeing a therapist. Originally written to be included as part of Diverse Stardew Valley, but it was split off into its own mod for people who would like this event edit without the larger mod. Although it doesn't explicitly refer to ShotFromGun's No More War - Kent As Journalist, the edits are written so that the event can be seen as compatible lore-wise.
To install, simply extract the “[CP] Kent Gets Therapy - 3 Heart Event Edit” folder and drop it into your Mods folder.
This mod is i18n-compatible, so if anyone would like to translate it, please send me a copy of the translated default.json and I'll gladly add it with credit!

Kent: Jodi! They're shooting, get down!
Kent: Wha... Jodi, what's going on? Are the boys safe?
Kent: I thought that the war had followed me home, that the Gotoro soldiers were attacking. ...Just the noise was enough to make me feel like I was back in the empire again.
Jodi: I thought it might make you feel better to enjoy your old favorites again. Remember when we used to make popcorn and watch movies with the boys?
Kent: It feels like that was a lifetime ago...
Jodi: *whisper* [Player]... can you say something to him? Times like these, he gets so caught up in his head that he doesn't hear me, and I don't know how to get through to him.
(Say something?)
> Player: Jodi, you should've known better.
Kent: No, she's not the one with the problem.
> Player: I know you're hurting, Kent. You should talk to someone about it.
Kent: ... You're right, [Player]. I've been avoiding thinking about it, but it's not helping.
> Player: (Lie) Blame me... I told Jodi to make popcorn.
Kent: Don't lie to me, [Player]. Jodi and I will sort this out ourselves.
Kent: ...Sorry, honey. I know I've been scaring you with my behavior. I... I think it's time I talked to a professional about all this.
Jodi: Oh, Kent... I'm so proud of you, dear. We can speak to Doctor Harvey about it tomorrow.
Kent: I'll look into therapy options together with Jodi. I'm glad you're a friend of the family, [Player].
