Welcome to my first mod containing original pixel designs!
I am a tea student, so these designs are a particularly special addition to the game for me. I hope they bring you joy and peace as well.
In an August 26th, 2021 web seminar by the Urasenke Foundation (a branch of Sen tradition) titled "Roji Garden Dropping The Dust of The World Passage to The Tearoom," it was reiterated that traditionally, a tea garden minimally needs only two things; a middle gate (chumon) and stone water basin (tsukubai). Passing through the middle gate represents passage into a mountain retreat for humble contemplation. Within the tea garden (roji), guests use the stone water basin to purify their hands and mouth by rinsing them in hot water before entering the tearoom. These activities are part of a process known as "dropping the dust of the world," transitioning guests to their tea mind. In addition to these, I've included a free-standing bench beneath eaves (koshikake) for guests to rest at while waiting for the host to slightly open the guest entrance (nigiriuchi) to the teahouse, signaling the guests that the host is prepared for them to enter the tearoom. You can learn more about tea and these designs in the Read Me file.
