The serializer warning SMAPI gives for SpaceCore is because SpaceCore takes out custom mod items from your save (not JA items, think like custom tools) so that it doesn't break if you try to load it without mods.
It's a good thing to watch for that warning, but in this case it is just SpaceCore trying to keep your save safe.

When using the Statue of Uncertainty to reset custom skills, it only lets you reset one custom skill a day. (the custom skills get cleared but the vanilla skills are still there).
Edit: weird tried it again and this time it allowed me to select 2 custom skills and then did the thing.

downloaded the new update and holy guacamole there's a lot of errors for spacecore in my log... my menu refused to open too, with the B button, the X button, the Escape button even! i had to shut the game down after pressing the windows key... (i play with a controller on my computer) log below, after a third of the way down it's all red for spacecore.

looks like it affects lvl 10 skills only
It tells me that the version is not supported, which is weird because I downloaded the uploaded version on May 27.
