This mod replaces the artifact dig spot worms with a cute animated sprout, making them easier to spot.
How to install
How to use
Once you've installed this mod, the sprout should automatically replace the artifact dig spot worms. You can till it with a hoe and uncover items just as you would with the regular dig spot.
Seasonal Variants + Settings
In the latest version of this mod, the sprouts will change color depending on the season to make them better blend in with their surroundings by default.
If you'd like to switch back to the default sprout color from previous versions that stays the same year-round, you can use the Generic Mod Config Menu mod to adjust those settings. You can also disable/re-enable the sprouts replacing the worm dig spots without uninstalling the mod or exiting the game within said menu.
Compatibility
How to install
- Install the latest version of SMAPI.
- Install the latest version of Content Patcher.
- Install the latest version of Generic Mod Config Menu. (Not required for the mod to work, but very useful to have!)
- Download this mod and unzip it into Stardew Valley/Mods.
- Run the game using SMAPI.

- Works in single player and multiplayer. (Other players in your multiplayer group won't be able to see artifact spots as sprouts unless they have installed this mod as well.)
