Help
Yes, but you have to make sure that "Fruity Signs" is listed below your other tree mod(s). The same applies to subfolders. See the example below:
This doesn't work:
Fruity Signs [no]
Grumpy Trees [yes]
This works:
Elegant Trees [yes]
Fruity Signs [yes]
You can also add a "Z" before this mod's name to solve the issue. Of course, only if you don't have a tree mod that starts with the letter.
Maybe, because I don't know all mods out there. If it doesn't work, I can take a look and try to help.
The CP functions are limited, so the easiest way seems to be to place your custom signs directly onto the mods tree graphics. This works in any case, but the extra signs cannot be managed, changed or removed through the Generic Mod Config Menu.
Trivia
This is a revision of the mod "Fruit Trees with Signs" from Develsaa. It now uses Content Patcher, is compatible with Stardew Valley 1.5, also includes Banana and Mango tree and adds the option to add custom signs. It no longer replaces fruitTrees.png, instead it simply overlays the signs.

- Does it work with mods that change the appearance of the existing trees?

- Does it work with mods that change more than the appearance of the existing trees?
Maybe, because I don't know all mods out there. If it doesn't work, I can take a look and try to help.
- I want to include new varieties of trees. How can I do that?
