This mod was made for Owl Pet since someone mentioned it in my comments and for owl lovers out there!

Installing:
- Put the unzipped folder "[CP] PetToOwlSound" into your mods folder.
- Run the game using SMAPI
- enjoy!
- this mod will replace cat and dog sounds
- I chose another sound since the author of the mod does not give permission for their assets
- you no longer need Pytk or Custom Music for the owl sound which was required in the original mod
- if you want to replace only one sound let's say you want to replace cat only, you can delete all dog lines from the file Content.json and they'll be back to normal
