The flower colour/inventory problem was annoying me so I wrote a tiny content patcher thing in 15 minutes to make it go away.
Please note that this mod affects seeds as at the time of planting. i.e. any config change will affect seeds planted after the config has been changed.

Now with config file that lets you choose from a handful of colour schemes for your flowers.

- Individual flower types can now be opted out of using a single colour.
- Individual flower types can be set to 'custom' and have their colour overridden by entering an RGB value (e.g. 255 0 0 to tint a flower red)
Installation
- Download the mod
- Extract the zip and paste into your mod folder
- The first time you run the game, a config file will be created. You can use this to choose a new flower colour scheme or add custom colours if you want.
Compatibility
- Compatible with most things because it has almost no moving parts.
- In particular it's compatible with replacements of flower assets such as Vanilla Tweaks and Better Crops and Forage
