This mod adds a bunch of new lines of dialogue for Mr. Qi. I went for a tone that was somewhere between 'Mysterious backer', 'gentle encouragement', and 'veiled threats'. As I figure out how to use various conditions and such, I'm hoping to add more dialogue.
I have no plan to make Qi friendable. He's Qi. You are an ant to him. A very entertaining ant, but an ant nonetheless.
Mods with built-in compatibility/Mods with extra lines of dialogue
Stardew Valley Expanded - There's quite a few lines of dialogue that follow certain SVE events (with more to come in the near future)
Mx. Qi - Certain lines where Qi refers to himself as male will be changed to gender neutral if you have this mod.
Most other mods should be compatible, as this only edits Mr. Qi's dialogue files.
Installation steps
1. Make sure you have SMAPI and content patcher.
2. Download this mod and unzip its contents into your Mods folder
