      The config file is created the first time you run the game after having downloaded the mod.

    So, I think this mod is great. However, is not working for me.

    Firstly, the rings disappear when I exit the game if I have them on my inventory or in the ring slots.

    Secondly, I've tried to change the values in the config to no avail. At first, I changed it to 90.0 to have a higher chance, and it worked, but then I changed to 1 because I assumed 1 would be 100% given that 0.05 is 5%. That didn't work. I then changed to 0.9 and that didn't work either. Finally, I changed to 90.0 again today and it just doesn't work. I even reinstalled the mod and all.

      Messed around with it on my end and it doesn't seem to work for me either. Tried MissRedgrave's values and other values. Never worked, even with two rings.

    Would it be possible to add compatibility with wear more rings mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/3214)? I'm not sure if others have asked but the wear more rings page said that while you can the equip giant crop ring the effects won't work? Sorry if this is a repeated topic. I really like this mod but I also can't play without wear more rings (you have 10 fingers but can only wear 2 rings? o.o). Thank you !

      The mod author is a software engineer actively involved in all the stardew vallyey mods he has created. It almost looks like he wants to update everything at once; it's impressive his commitment just looking at the github, every mod has been worked upon in the last month and there are about 30 mods. I like this guy. And this is just his hobby. This guy is excellent.

      Seems the author has made the necessary changes, but hasn't compiled the mod.
      Last changes were last month, so either he is not done or hasn't taken the time to compile.
      I'm going to assume the changes are complete which means all one needs to do is open
      GiantCropRing.csproj with Visual Studio (make sure GiantRing.cs is in the same place as project file)
      Then all one needs to do is press build and it should spit out a new dll and pdb file.

      "Program database (PDB) is a proprietary file format (developed by Microsoft) for storing debugging information about a program (or, commonly, program modules such as a DLL or EXE). PDB files commonly have a . pdb extension. A PDB file is typically created from source files during compilation." So all you need is the new dll that visual studio will spit out. As I don't have it installed right now, it will be a bit. Easy fix. Not bad for a guy who never made a single stardew mod haha. Do have programming experience; some...pointers were annoying but not nearly annoying as inheritance.

      Update: weird error on opening the project file, google is no help.
      The good news is the last commit was on Jan 14, 2020 so the author is working on it. It isn't dead like everyone assumed. Quite a bit code for such a small mod, I'll give the author the time he needs. Hopefully it will be out within a month. It just sucks cause my spring playthrough is dependent on Giant crops, and I'm 3 days away before needing the Giant Crop ring.

      I have just managed to compile the new dll :) However it is Wednesday and Pierre is closed so I will know in under an hour whether the new dll worked or not. If it does, anyone wanting to be linked to the new patch will have to pm directly. I will follow up on whether or not the new dll works. I know the old didn't cause the ring didn't show in Pierre's store; smapi errors notwithstanding.

      It is strange, so no SMAPI error, none with regard to giant crop ring, everything updated, tried on existing, tried on new game, next day on new game since the code seemed to imply it was added when the player went to bed. Nothing. The code looks good and indeed Pierre is suppose to have it. Unfortunately, I have to get ready for work. So further debugging will be postponed for now. Something is causing pierre not to stock the item and I will figure out what it is.
