About this mod

Mod adding several options for the beams and kitchens, log panels, and pillars.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Description:
  • Combines the art from Lumisteria's Indoor Tilesheets with the code from Asters Beam Mod
  • A CP mod adding several options for the beams and an AT pack adding matching options for the pillars.
  • Give a fresh look to your farmhouse with those ! Choose what to use in the farmhouse, the cabins, the shed and the island farmhouse, and choose between different styles and options.

Quick start for beam mod
  • Download and install the latest version of CP
  • Extract this mod and it's required mods into your mods folder (if you are confused check out this guide)
  • Launch the game
  • Either close the game and change the config.json with notepad and relaunch the game, or change it while the game is running using GMCM.

Config guide:

  • A guide to what each config field changes what is shown in the mod images from Asters Beam Mod, the code for both mods is the same but it's easier for Aster not to have to update the guide in so many different locations
  • Your options are often just the filenames of the images, so you have to go into the "assets" folder and copy the filenames into the config file.
  • For beams you only have to copy the colour and type. That's the part of the filename that comes after "beams_" so for example if you look at the image called "farmhouse_tiles_beams_birchfine.png" and you want that colour in your farmhouse you copy "birchfine" into your config file next to the fields that say "beams".
  • You don't have to put something in every field, you can just leave them empty if you don't want to change them

Compatibility:
  • The optional "Asters Beam Mod - Lumisteria expansion" is a file you can drop into  Asters Beam Mod if you want to use the art from both mods together
  • Will not corrupt your save file, and if anything looks weird with this mod installed it's very easy to remove; just delete this mod's files. The mod is still a work in progress so there might be visual errors, if you post a screenshot I'll look at fixing it when I have some free time to work on this mod.
  • This mod works like layers, so it may get hidden under other mods that change the same things. To fix this try adding a "z" to the start of the file name as mods are loaded alphabetically and the mods loaded last are more likely to override everything else. Also report  it here! Because I can also add the mod as a false dependency so it loads on top of the other mod.
  • If this mod is hiding anything from your other mods it's an easy fix because everything can be disabled in the config.json. Just go to the config.json  and type "false" or leave the field empty instead of choosing a texture.
