2.0 Update A bunch of new features and config options have been updated so you can make your farm even more your own! Please check the main page for options and info.
NOTE: If you choose to remove the middle hill, please know that you need to use something like Reset Terrain Features via Github or the Let's Move It mod in order to get rid of the bushes left over!
I am looking into making a version of this that is able to be its own stand-alone farm, based on a comment I received before. This would allow players to use the vanilla hilltop farm and this farm for different saves without having to remove the mod if they want to use the different hilltops for single-player vs multi and the like.
If you have other suggestions, please let me know!
Thank you for the map, I like a lot the new expanded layout.
I found a small visual issue with the shadows on the upper right stairway. (red arrow) shadow mismatch I don't know if this is intentional because i can see the same shadow mismatch happens in your map images.
Downloaded immediately as i saw it! downloaded for a preexisting farm and its working great for me and my partner, we're really enjoying the mod! We haven't found any major issues. all I've really seen is a few areas where textures are kind of sharp like they don't mesh as well the the surrounding area, but i also have many other mods on :p. i personally am using the 'lets move it' mod to handle bushes and most of the misplaced items, but it only took like 2-3 days to get everything exactly how we wanted. Highly recommend this mod, it gives the hill-top farm much more space to play with without feeling cramped.
this mod looks really nice! is there any estimate on when it will be updated for 1.6? I'm really anticipating it cause i feel like this base farm layout had potential but needs some love, and this mods does it very well.
Edit: i attempted to bring an existing 1.6 hilltop farm save to this farm layout mid play through, and i am unable to relocate my farmhouse, as it says 'farmhouse cannot be moved to a different map' i am also using the 'build and place anything anywhere' mod, and i have reach out in there comments to see if they know a workaround for now. also the tiles under where the house originally sits are incorrect? I'm not sure how to describe it, its just rock texture, but I'm fairly certain its not intended to look like that. i haven't dug to deep to see if there are other issues, but for now that what I've found this currently troubleshooting more, this is likely not an issue related to this mod, but the place anywhere mod
No ETA yet unfortunately. 1.6 heavily broke some things that I'm still trying to get figured out, particularly with the Farmhouse and the warp to the bus stop. :/
The wonky tiles under the farmhouse are part of this mod, since the Farmhouse used to be unmovable those tiles indicated that's where the farmhouse was, but its another broken part from 1.6
Update: found the issue with the busstop warp! Going to fix it and the farm house issue and I'll get a 1.6 patched version up so the map is at least usable in the meantime, and my other updates I want to do will just be a separate update.
Thank you so much for this amazing map, it's the only one who pushed me back into SDV since the first time. I just love everything about it, it's lovely, well thinking in a practical and aestetic way, not too small and not too big, just perfect. So glad there will be a 1.6 version, thank you for your time! But maybe it's already working without your update? (sorry for my cluncky English, I am fr)
this accommodates my worrying shed collection lol. Although I downloaded into my already existing save file and it all went bananas. Thank goodness for the noclip mod and the Move It mod
Is there a way to toggle which game save uses this version? I'm in a 4-player coop hilltop that wants to stay on the original small map, but I'd love to play with this map myself in another save!
Hello! I don't think there's a good way to toggle it on a per save basis unfortunately, just due to how maps are used and how this replaces the vanilla map.
Hi, I love this map but it's currently partly incompatible with SVE. When you get the farm nexus warp point, it spawns on the cliff under the cherry tree near the north exit of the farm, which is an unreachable tile. Any chance of a fix for this? Thanks!
Hello! I know SVE changes a lot of warp points and it probably has something set specifically for the vanilla hilltop map. I'd have to really look into it and see, but currently this map may just be incompatible with SVE.
Hello! This issue occurs because the bridge and tree tiles are on different layers. The front bridge tiles are on a higher layer so that they appear in front of the player when going across, but the tree tiles exist on a lower layer. There's no real way to fix the tiles themselves, just due to how maps and tiles work, but I can remove that tree from that spot specifically so you don't see the wonky visual.

I've noticed something about the bridges though... Trees go through bridge tiles whenever they please, could you look into this?
here's a tree falling through the bridge
