A user on Reddit wanted me to make a mod that tells you how many of each mob are in the room that you walk into, so I made one real quick
Download this mod and unzip it into Stardew Valley/Mods.
Run the game using SMAPI.
How to use Simply walk into a room with monsters in it, like most levels in the mines, and it will tell you how many of each kind of monster are present in that room. By default, it displays temporary notifications in the bottom left, but in-game chat messages and SMAPI console output are also available (all are toggleable).
In the config, there is a DisplayReportButton option that uses a Keybind list for its value. You can view a list of valid keybinds to input a correct value for this option, or you could use Generic Mod Config to be able to change values mid-game.
Compatibility
Works with Stardew Valley 1.6.x on Linux/macOS/Windows.
Works in single player, multiplayer, and split-screen mode.
Known Issues
Some of the mobs in the dangerous mines are still shown as their regular mines versions. Mb I have finals right now as of 1.2.0 update so I'll probably fix it later
The big slime icon is gray when it should be colored correctly for a given environment
