About this image

I'm currently working well. I redrew the old tables and galdly I have make some pregression from a few months ago. So I guess I proably will not post another image again before I finish it...

But before that I want to find a place to ask advices for my furniture. There are some bigger furniture I want to add, but I don't have enough places for Vanilla furniture. I proably will make a DGA or CF  mod later. Because I still want to keep a CP version for my furniture since that's what I usually use. Besides, it seems like AT version is also a good idea.

But here is the question: Will it be better if I try to put most alternative textures in one *location*, or is it better if I just put them like CP version? (In different lecations). I want to have some advices since I can't make sure...

AT is a great idea. DGA is also good, but CF is very buggy, so you probably don't want to use it. If you want, you can use the new "collective" feature of AT, where you can have, for example, all tables have the same textures, instead of having to put each table separately.
I love the art, it looks so amazing!

Ah, ty. I didn't know AT has that feature. It sounds good I'll look into it later.

Going against the curve and recommending DGA instead!
This is just personal opinion but I find every furniture being it's own new, unique item to be a lot more fun and immersive from a player point of view.
From a furniture modder point of view, DGA has a ton of really fun useful features that you can make fun things with. It also allows you to create things that are sized differently to vanilla which CP/AT don't allow you to do. It really isn't very difficult to use! Once you make your first content pack, making DGA furniture becomes very easy.

Good luck either way, this looks wonderful!

Ty for introduction, I'll consider it. I actually mean I want to make a new furniture pack later with DGA/CF version. Because for the current one I want to remain CP version haha.

PurpleChickadee hit the nail on the head! I have next to no idea on how to make Stardew Valley mods, but I managed to take a look at various Alternative Texture mods and how they're built and it was far less daunting than I thought it would be.

But this and the other images you've uploaded before of the furniture you're working on are lovely! I especially love the breakfast table and the stained glass panel.

These are lovely! And seconding PurpleChickadee's comment. AT has less of a learning curve than DGA I feel, but both are really great options! CF is inching toward becoming obsolete at this point and has mostly been maintained for legacy purposes, so I wouldn't suggest using it if you can figure out how to use either of the other frameworks!

I don't really get what location really mean but I think AT is a good option, cause you can use different textures in one furniture. I don't really get what location really mean but

I mean if I should make different textures for one furniture or not. Well, since I know AT has that collective feature, it proably doesn't matter anymore.
