About this image

 Hey there everyone,

First  want to start by saying thank you to everyone who has been supporting me through my process. It has been very touching and encouraging to have so many people excited over something I am making. Unfortunately I do have some bad news.  Due to a very sudden decline in my health, I will be unable to continue working on Turn About. Due to its size and the stress it was causing, it was suggested to me by a medical professional to restructure my projects into smaller more manageable ones.

Turn About will not be continued, however a much reasonable project is in the works. Much like East Scarp, I am creating a core mod with a core map that I can edit with stand alone npcs. So the map shown is a old Pelican Town Graveyard, without any of my npcs installed this core mod will still be useable. You'll be able to go into the graveyard and experience things just for the core mod. The core mod, will also load all my tilesheets I use for every single one of my mods into the game.

What you'll be able to do is get the core mod and Download say 'Magical Family'. When Magical Family is installed along with the core mod, an edit will occur placing Valerie and her Mother onto the core map.

All of my older NPCS are still being rewritten and moved. Just to the core map instead, some of them will get a entrance to their own property etc. In the end I am hoping to create a modular process where I can slowly add my rewritten npcs and then later on I will be working on newer npcs one stand alone project at a time. Truly I hope everyone understands why I had to change things up.

As for my older mods. I am leaving them up for now and I will be fixing the current bugs within the following weeks. After I fix those bugs, I will be no longer updating any of my NPCS that is not  Traveling dreamer.

When the 1.6 beta finally goes live, I will be hiding those older mods. Because after that I will only be working on 1.6 content and those npcs will be out of date and will cause game breaking errors due to the changes in 1.6.

Thank you for everything, this community is very specials to me.
Be well and stay shapely my friends. <3

sad to hear Turnabout won't be what you originally hoped and that the curtains may be closing on many of your NPCs once 1.6 arrives, you put a lot of heart into your work and I'm sure this is bittersweet for you. But as many have said, your health comes first Clown, and I hope the shift helps you manage things.

Your health comes first and RosePalitsky put it correctly! Your NPCs are amazing, so whatever you do, I know they'll be great.
Please take care of yourself and can't wait to do a playthrough with your NPCs.

Please take care of yourself, my friend. Even though Turnabout Creek has been discontinued I still continue to look forward to your projects and where it all takes you next. I'm also loving the look of this core map!

This sounds like an extremely smart way to do it!  You have some of my favorite NPCs, so I'll gladly be following whatever you do, but your first priority should always be taking care of yourself! <3
