    Dade's CoP MOD (1.0)

    Last Update: 20 Apr 2016
    Author: Dade88

This MOD tries to give all users an intense hardcore and realist experience, taking into account also other aspects. In order to get this objective, on this first release you will notice many substantial changes on the HUD: vision and sound indicators disappear, as well as cross-hair, grenade launching meter, as well as damage & grenade indicators. Personally, I suggest you not to cross swamps; if you need so, check it with binoculars, it can be a mortal trap. Creatures also suffers some changes, mainly on their field and distance of view, as on their immunities (from bullets and explosions mainly). From others authors, together with graphics and sound enhancements, there is a hard modification on weapons based on real data. Moreover, weapons no longer zooms when using the iron-sights and grenades (all kinds) are much more destructive than before. Regarding future versions, I have no clue! Many ideas on my mind (for example, acid rain), but let see what I can do - of course, collaborations are well accepted. Anyway, I wish to make a high review of the commerce system, discounts and quest prizes, and of course, apply any suggestion purposed. For any suggestion, bug-report or whatever, feel free to visit: http://stalkerhispano.com/foros/proyectos/dade-s-cop-mod.php

This is a small add-on, to my previous mod (Kohuke's mod compilation). How ever this can be used a separate mod as well. Anyway I limited with this mod the things that get looted from a corpse by NPC: * NPC does not take: ---* Grenades ---* Weapon add-ons ---* Medical Supplies ---* Food ---* Detectors ---* Special weapons ---* Ammo Everything else not listed here will be looted. No need to start a new game, should work with every other mod, that doesn't change looting. This is only compatible with CoP!

    Last Update: 20 Apr 2016
    Author: Cromm Cruac

ATMOSFEAR is a mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Call Of Pripyat that tweaks and expands the vanilla weather system to be more realistic and various. 2 additional dynamic weather cycles has been added to 4 existing in vanilla version. Also a full weather cycle has been created for Jupiter Underground. The vision distances for some weather cycles has been increased (and reduced for other) so on a clear day you can now see almost across the whole area. Over 90 new sky textures has been added. Those include newly rendered textures and retouched, edited and color corrected textures from vanilla version, StalkerSkies by Cambragol and Panoramic Mod by Argus. The mod also replaces vanilla blowout sequence making blowouts dark and gloomy, showing strange atmospherical phenomena similar to aurora borealis (northern lights) due to high level of ionizing radiation. To check what's new in v1.2 see readme file. More screenshots, videos, installation guide and download links here: http://atmosfear.crommcruac.com

    Faiakes Harcore Mod (1.0)

    Last Update: 20 Apr 2016
    Author: Faiakes

After completing the game 3 times on Master level I was disappointed to discover how easy it was, mostly because I ended up very early one with a ridiculous amount of money. Essentially it made the economy of the game pointless (and the game too easy). My solution was simple: 1) Raised the minimum used condition of weapons and armour required by traders to 80% 2) Reduced the amount of Food & Drugs bodies leave 3) Reduced the amount of Bullets bodies and weapons leave Raising the right equipment is now more of a challenge and you have to conserve ammo and resources, like any proper post-apocalyptic scenario would demand. Plus, the weight limitations make more sense (don't bother carry anything with more than one bar of wear, and even most of those you won't be able to sell. Use anyone you find along the way to see if you should bother to continue carrying something).

  • CoP PLUS Medicals

    CoP PLUS Medicals

    Last Update: 20 Apr 2016
    Author: Chuppachup

This minimod makes Medkits, Bandages and Anti-rads less effective and adds negative effects (alcohol effect). Each use also subtracts a big amount of endurance / power - so you need to be careful as you can find yourself immobilized and/or unable to sprint for a while after medicating. The ideal way to use this is to deselect any and all meds from the quick-use slots - ie. access meds from the inventory. The purpose of it is to compensate for the overabundance of Medkits and Bandages etc. and make healing a more tactical process where you have to find cover and take time to heal. The alcohol effect is supposed to impair your combat effectiveness for a little while, but in CoP doesn't work as well for this purpose as it does in Shadow of Chernobyl (the two games use different effectors and I haven't been able to duplicate the ones from SoC in CoP even when I copy across what I think are the relevant files - SoC makes things very blurry and sways a lot whereas CoP has less blur and some weird screen whiteout effect that comes and goes - so I've had to go really gently with the amount of effect each use has). If you like the Power / Endurance drop effect but not the rest then for amount and time of boost effect I've left original values in place but remarked out with semicolons - so go into each section and make the originals active - and for the alcohol effect just remark out the relevant line for each item - and you'll see the power value there so can mess with it too if you want - it's all customizable which is the great thing about STALKER games! :-)
