Adds about sixteen new guitar songs and five harmonica songs, along with the original eleven songs from Shadow of Chernobyl and Clear Sky, for stalkers to play around campfires. GSC made these but for some reason they don't show up in the game, so the author got them working.

  • Dade's CoP Mod (1.1)

    Dade's CoP Mod (1.1)

    Last Update: 20 Apr 2016

This modification attempts to provide a new level of intensity, while emphasizing aspects of realism. In this second release, it has been a big rework in the economic system of the game, trying relating prices with law of supply and demand (for example, soviet weapons are cheaper), plus the market has been opened to extend trading with stalkers and traders; be careful with ratios (some will pay more for certain products than others). In addition to realism, max weight has been set up to 25 Kg (after 30 you wont be able to walk); although weight of all objects has been reviewed to lower numbers. If your intention is to collect goods in the Zone, you can still use the bandits lite outfit (1kg & able to carry 5 artifacts) or the exoskeleton which will increase your charge capacity to 300 Kg. Also, protection versus radiation and chemical burn have been deleted from default protections (except with the scientific outfits). I have also included the fancy Predator Night Vision from the mod made by Dark Trinity, Night Vision Variations. Definitely, you will need to use all the catalog of drugs and antibiotics from now on. Happy hardcore gaming! Some things you'll notice, emphasizing this goal, is the minimalistic HUD interface. The field of vision, and general awareness of mutated creatures has been modified to better reflect your own perceptions, leading to more intensity in open areas. Their immunities have been modified in tandem with such changes. This modification incorporates works from other authors, including aesthetic and audible enhancements, as well as weapon parameters developed in order to accurately reflect their real life counterparts, such as higher accuracy and damage variables. Plans for future versions of this modification are subject to change given the realm of plausibility for completion, and desire given. Collaboration with others is welcome. Suggestions, bug-reports, and various other requests and inquiries should be fielded here: http://stalkerhispano.com/foros/viewtopic.php?f=140&t=48279

  • Realistic Combat Overhaul Beta (1.0.2)

    Realistic Combat Overhaul Beta (1.0.2)

    Last Update: 20 Apr 2016

Description: The goal of this mod was originally to make the weapons behave more realistically. Since then, I have added other features that make the combat more realistic in general, including changes to the AI, mutants, and getting shot effects. I later decided to replace all of Nimbles's guns with guns that are "Artifact Mods" instead; not because they are realistic (well, not anymore than an artifact itself anyway) but because they are a ton of fun. NOTE: THIS MOD IS INTENDED FOR MASTER DIFFICULTY. On lower difficulties it will be less realistic due to the player being able to take more damage from just about everything. Shooting in the open will get you killed fast. INSTALLATION: Copy the the folders "gamedata" and "bin" into your Stalker directory. I suggest backing up your xr_Game.dll in the bin directory of your Stalker directory, because that it the one thing this mod overwrites. This mod can be used with other mods that don't contain any files that this overwrites other than the xr_Game.dll, which gets overwritten even on the vanilla version.

  • CoP PLUS (V1.0)

    CoP PLUS (V1.0)

    Last Update: 20 Apr 2016

Changes the visual look of the game world and includes weapons tweaks and some changed weapon sounds - along with removed headbob. The visuals make CoP more green and "normal" looking and can be customised or even returned to normal for those who just want the weapon tweaks and sounds - see the readme for details. Patterning is a problem when messing with ground textures - there may be a bit visible but its not too bad. These are not custom textures - they're just mix n match renames. The weapon tweaks are work in progress - and they are done with GAMEPLAY in mind - NOT realism - so theres no point carrying on about incorrect muzzle velocities etc.

Absolute Nature Texture Pack for SCoP (1.1)

    Last Update: 20 Apr 2016

This texture contain ground and foliage textures from vanilla and from various texture packs including: Ceano's Graphic Compilation, NeilMC's Graphics Pack, Perfect Graphic Mod by S.H.T.I.R.L.I.Z. and IndigoSC's Green Zone. Textures has been edited on MIP map level which means that every MIP map in every texture has been sharpened gradually according to display distance. This results in overall sharpness of the image. Ground texture MIP maps has been edited manually to add more features visible in the distance. There are 3 ground/foliage seasonal options to install: - early spring - summer - autumn Most of the textures are the same resolution as vanilla so they don't require much more RAM to load. You can use them even on low spec machines. What's new in this version: - Optional autumn texture pack has been added - Some transparency fixes has been done

    COP Scope Magnification Fix (1.0)

    Last Update: 20 Apr 2016

This mod fixes the scope magnifications to (approximately) match their in-game descriptions, in particular, the long range versions of the PSO and SUSAT attachable scopes. My intention was to make the long range attached scopes useful for sniping, similar to the (upgraded) fn2000, (upgraded) l86, Vintorez, SVU, SVD and Gauss. Taking the following values as given (magnification = scope_zoom_factor): 6x = 5, 5x = 10, 4x = 15, 3.5x = 20, 2.7x = 30, 1.6x = 40 (please note that they are probably nowhere near accurate, as i didn't bother taking measurements.) the new values are: scopes: (all magnification values increased) - PSO1 (normal, contrast, nightvision) = 5x - SUSAT (normal, contrast, nightvision, custom) = 4x - PSO1 assault = 2.7x - SUSAT assault = 1.6x weapons: (upgraded g36, normal fn2000 zoom increased) - Gauss, Upg. SVD = 6x - Upg. Vintorez, Upg. SVU = 5x - Upg. FN2000, upg. l86, Upg. g36 = 4x - SVD, Vintorez = 4x - SVU = 3.5x - FN2000, l86, g36 = 2.7x Also changed the English description on the g36's first scope upgrade, to what it really does. Back in December I announced our intention to create and release a system that provided some modest rewards to mod authors on Nexus Mods.

It's taken us a bit longer to implement than we initially anticipated, but I am happy to announce that from today, any mod authors on Nexus Mods will be able to opt their files into our Donation Points system.

We've made a small change to the site today to inform any users whose emails are "bouncing" that they need to update their email records.

A bounced email is basically an email we've sent you and then received back saying that the email is undeliverable.

Bounced emails are bad for us as they are expensive to deal with on our email delivery platform and ultimately, if you are using the wrong email address or an email address that does not work/exist any more then you will n...

In celebration of our new site design, we have teamed up with GOG.com, CORSAIR, MSI, and PCMasterRace to share our love for PC gaming worldwide through a massive giveaway! Before we get into the juicy details though, I wanted to take a quick trip down memory lane and look at some of the previous designs we've used at Nexus Mods before reaching this point.

Since its initial founding in 2001, Nexus Mods has been through many incarnations. It all started with Morrowind Chronicles, a fan...

  • Redesign Launch - Stage 2 in progress

We're currently implementing stage 2 of our redesign soft launch process and as such, you might experience a few oddities and/or get thrown about a bit between the old and new designs as we gradually implement the changes and stress test things.

Stage 2 is moving the nexusmods.com domain over to the new design so by default, users will be on the new design. During this time we're still allowing users to access the old website design via https://old.nexusmods.com.

  • An update on Vortex development

It's time for a Vortex development update!

Since our last news post back in May we have setup a focus group of around 30 individuals who have been given access to an early build alpha of Vortex using a rudimentary design and UX flow. Tannin has been working with these users, taking on their feedback and patching up bugs that have been found over the past couple of months. At this stage, the core functionality is all done and now it's a matter of rounding off any rough ed...

We're doing a very soft launch of this redesign. In September we provided the mod authors with access to the new site to receive their feedback and bug hunting help and a few weeks ago we provide...

  • Mod Spotlight: Frosty Tool Suite

    Frosty Tool Suite
The Frostbite Engine is one of the most powerful game engines around, and the backbone of many of the most popular games. Unless you only play indie games, you've likely played a game running on the Frostbite Engine. Up until recently, however, modding Frostbite Engine games was a daunting task (and by daunting I mean near-impossible).

When GalaxyMan2015 (known as Ehamloptiran here on Nexus Mods) couldn't find the tools to dig into the Frostbite Engin...

  • Staff Picks - 07 June 2017
